Ahmad Jamal - Cross Country Tour
This double CD gives you a taste of one of the tastiest of all jazz musicians. Ahmad Jamal's phrasings influenced none other than Miles Davis, who would cite Jamal's important influence on his music. Especially important was Vernel Fournier's mallet work on "Poinciana," which helped make the tune a huge hit for Jamal.
