Sunday, March 21st - VoxPop Cafe, with The Vinson Valega Quartet, as part of the Consilience Awareness Concert Series. 5:00 - 7:30pm. Featuring Chris Bacas on tenor & soprano saxophones, Matt Chertkoff on guitar, Phil Palombi on bass, and Vinson Valega on drums.

This event continues our "Live Jazz for Social Change" message. Immediately following the quartet's performance we will conduct a panel discussion/interview with Anne Pope, founder and executive director of Sustainable Flatbush, a fantastic local Brooklyn organization committed to mobilizing, educating, and advocating for sustainable living in Brooklyn and beyond.

Saturday, May 1st - Smalls Jazz Club, with The Vinson Valega Group, featuring Chris Bacas (tenor & soprano saxophones), Anton Denner (alto sax & flute), Mike Fahn (trombone), Matthew Fries (piano), Gary Wang (bass), Vinson Valega (drums). 7:30 - 10:00pm. We'll be playing music from the new CD, "Biophilia," so make sure to stop by after your work week! $10 cover. Come check out the music in one of New York's most happening clubs!
